Recently, Fortune China released its 2026 Most Powerful Women (MPW) list, naming Ms. Wang Jili, Vice Chairman of Jereh Group, to the Most Powerful Women – Future List. The recognition reflects her leadership in the industry and extensive experience in corporate management, while highlighting the growing impact of women leaders in business.

Founded in 1929, Fortune is one of the world’s most recognized business publications and is widely known for the Fortune 500. Fortune China launched its Most Powerful Women list in 2010, with 2026 marking its 17th edition. Rather than focusing solely on numerical rankings, MPW places influence at the center of its assessment, examining how women leaders empower their teams, create broader value and address real-world challenges.

Wang' s career in the oil and gas industry has been closely intertwined with Jereh' s growth. When she joined Jereh in 2001, the company was still a parts trading and maintenance business with just over a dozen employees. On her third day with the company, she boarded a train for Xinjiang. With little prior knowledge of equipment or spare parts, she learned hands-on from experienced technical colleagues, from disassembling pumps and motors to equipment assembly.

As a sales engineer, Wang handled orders ranging in value from a few thousand yuan to more than 1 million yuan without a single delivery error. She has always attributed that record to the combined efforts of the sales, technical and procurement teams. Over more than two decades, Wang has grown from a sales engineer into Vice Chairman of Jereh Group, while Jereh has evolved from a team of just over a dozen people into an international company with more than 10,000 employees and a market capitalization exceeding 100 billion yuan.

Her management philosophy has consistently emphasized the strength of the team over individual heroics. “No matter how hard one person works, no individual can drive a large company forward alone. Long-term growth depends on the strength of the team,” Wang said. In her view, one of Jereh' s core strengths is a strong corporate culture that is genuinely put into practice. She has long emphasized mentoring and knowledge sharing, passing on experience and turning individual expertise into collective capability.

As AI continues to reshape industries worldwide, demand for reliable power solutions for data centers is rising rapidly. Jereh has extended its proven gas turbine power generation capabilities from electric fracturing operations into this fast-growing sector, using them as a foundation for its integrated data center solutions.
