Recently, the Abu Dhabi Branch of Jereh Energy Services Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Jereh Group, officially received the API Q2 Quality Management System certification issued by the American Petroleum Institute (API). This is Jereh Energy Services’ second API Q2 certification. It demonstrates that Jereh Energy Services’ quality management practices in overseas oilfield services meet internationally recognized standards. To date, Jereh Energy Services is the only Chinese company that has achieved API Q2 certification in the oilfield production enhancement services sector in the Middle East.

Released by API in 2011, API Q2 is widely recognized as one of the most stringent quality management standards in the global oilfield services industry. The standard focuses on risk control and quality reliability throughout service execution and is a key qualification considered by leading international energy operators when selecting service partners.

In August 2016, Jereh Energy Services obtained China’s first API Q2 certification covering both hydraulic fracturing and coiled tubing services, and has continuously maintained the certification since then. Over the past decade, Jereh Energy Services has consistently implemented and further developed the application of the API Q2 system, extending the same high standards to our overseas operations.

As Jereh Energy Services’ Abu Dhabi operations continue to expand, clients overseas are increasingly expecting well-structured processes, reliable quality tracking, and robust risk management. To meet these requirements, we initiated the API Q2 certification process for our Abu Dhabi operations in 2024. Building on Jereh Energy Services’ years of experience with the API Q2 system and a strong quality management foundation in Abu Dhabi, we successfully passed the certification audit on the first attempt.

The certification demonstrates international recognition of Jereh’s professional and standardized quality management practices in overseas oilfield services. It also strengthens clients’ confidence in the Jereh’s ability to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality services in the Middle East.
